The man who bought Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s infamous suit worth Rs 10 lakh for Rs 4.31 crore has promise to help 10,000 girl children. The man gained popularity after he bought Modi’s suit with ‘Narendra Damodardas Modi’ monogrammed as striped on it from an auction. The man has promised to donate Rs 200 crore for the benefit of girl children. Patel aka Lalji Badshah is a Surat diamond baron, builder, private airline and philanthropist. He made this surprise announcement at Vatsalya Gram, Vrindavan during a visit to the place on Tuesday. He told that he would launch a program on March 13 in Surat. Parents of 10,000 girls selected across the country would be paid Rs 2 lakh each for their studies and other expenses. Patel made the announcement at a function in Vatsalya Gram charitable trust. The trust encourages sponsorship for children. Patel said that she was inspired by the works from Sadhvi Ritambhara’s work and hence decided to make the donation.
